A 66 ft multiband Off-Center-Fed (OCF) style dipole antenna that covers the 40 thru 10 Meters Amateur Radio bands, most
without an antenna tuner. Typically no tuner is required for 40, 20, lower 10, bands. A tuner is required
for full 80 meter operation. The 17, 15 and 12 Meter Amateur Bands can be used with a wideband tuner at 100 Watts PEP.
The transformer is designed with a high power dual core 4:1 balun. This design provides a direct DC ground for effective
static dissipation. The balun housing is made with American products (except for the UHF connector) consisting of a NEMA-6
marine grade weatherproof PVC housing, plus all stainless steel mounting hardware for years of trouble free service.
Unlike some
OCF antennas that require 20 feet of an isolation line with a 1:1 isolation transformer, the SE-OCF4010 uses a Current Balun
that provides RF choking by design. This means you can mount the Balun box (transformer) and also the transmission line directly
to, or adjacent to metal objects, like a tower leg or metal siding with no ill effects to antenna performance.
