SE-DBj: 146/440 Mc. Dual Band j-Pole
The ubiquitous dual band j-Pole antenna, the SE-DBj covers 144 to 146 Mc. at 1.6:1 or less VSWR and 420 to 450
Mc. at 2.2:1 or less VSWR. Heavy Duty construction that allows 80 MPH wind survival with 1/2" radial ice. The dual
band j-Pole antenna is provides omni-directional coverage for 2 meters and UHF ham bands using a single transmission
line. This antenna provides a convenent interface with any dual band 146/440 Mc. transceiver using a single antenna port. The
SE-DBj is constructed of 6063-T832 hard drawn aluminum tubing, and stainless steel components for years of trouble free operation.
The use of aluminum tubing provides for a very light weight (1.5 lbs.) unit. The SE-DBj is designed to be mounted vertically
for FM operation. Built for fixed station and portable operation. Mast clamp is designed to accept
sizes between 1" to 1.75" OD. Equipped with a SO-239 (UHF Female). Designed primarily as a transmit/receive
antenna for the 2 meter and UHF ham bands, the SE-DBj makes a great scanner receiver antenna for 28 Mc. to 900 Mc. reception.
